How Easy Is It?

How easy is it to give thanks? How easy is it to give up?

Two completely different paths and actions, but both giving, right? One takes a little bit more effort, but not much. And yet the rewards of these two things couldn't differ any greater.

One yields a positive light that burns bright from within. A enduring fuel that can carry one through the roughest of times, darkest of nights and desolate days. It allows the impossible the become possible, because the power of earthly power is given away, allowing for the eternal power to fill in the void.

The other puts out the flame, with nothing but fog and smoke to follow. No glowing ember of faith that the end result will be anything other than failure. Feeding off itself, making its filthy stickiness keep you from doing even the simplest of tasks without that glow of self accomplishment. No, the only thing present is self doubt.

Two easy tasks, a great divide inbetween for results. Made difficult only by ourselves and no one else.
Blinding ourselves with color and movement than accepting the stillness within.

Not much to say, and gotta get moving for my day to begin.

Much has changed and stayed the same.

Not sure what this space will be used for, but thought a quick post should do it.

Until I can think of more, I say this.

Obama must be defeated. Not saying Romney is the answer, but Obama sure isn't. Ryan is the answer, and hopefully can right the ship.
